"I believe therapy is a journey of self-discovery and growth. You already hold the answers to creating balance in your life—my role is to support and guide you in uncovering them. I strive to create a space that feels safe, nurturing, and deeply empathetic, where you can explore your experiences with compassion and clarity."

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 and bring over 20 years of experience to the field. My background includes working with Child Protective Services, providing in-home family support, conducting home studies, and offering individual therapy to adults.

I’ve always been drawn to helping others find clarity and healing. My passion for therapy grew from a deep belief that everyone deserves a space to feel seen, heard, and understood.  I take a warm, collaborative approach, tailoring therapy to fit your unique needs. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with tools to navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in helping adults facing trauma-related symptoms, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of cancer.  I have firsthand experience with cancer, not just as a therapist, but as a survivor. This personal journey gives me a deep understanding of the emotional and physical challenges that come with a diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, discovering new documentaries, and trying (often unsuccessfully) to keep my home organized.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you're ready to take the first step, I’d love to connect and see how I can support you on your journey.
